Steve Brady visited me on my sick bed a little while ago and left me a copy of this book. Although it is book of daily readings, I couldn't put it down and finished it in three days. It is known as an advent book with a reading from Genesis to Revelation for every day of the Advent period. Steve is fun to read with an irrepressible sense of humour (he'd have to be like that, he is an Everton supporter).
The whole Christian message is here in this book and since Steve is an expert on the Last Things (he wrote his PhD on the Intermediate State) he gets Revelation right. If you are wondering what you should read in December, read this.
