Yes, calculating. Obama is a good man but an ambitious man. Ever know a politician who wasn't? Obama knew this was coming. What else does he know is coming?
ReplyDeleteThis is why I voted on Feb. 5 for the devil I knew -- Clinton -- instead of the devil I didn't, my own pet devil (Edwards) having by then dropped out of the race.
He's a slam dunk for the presidency, so it doesn't matter at all.
ReplyDeleteAll he has to say is, 'isn't it wonderful that by voting for me we can show the world that we've moved past our horrible racist past, once and for all.'
Millions will cheer and fight to be the first to so demonstrate.
It's all over. There could be a video showing him strangling a puppy, and it wouldn't cause a ruffle.
'Anyone who votes against Obama probably is a racist' will be the implicit tone to use.
